The content of The Basic Course includes both the legal and ethical aspects of estate planning. Each participant will learn how to design, draft and implement creative solutions to meet a client’s estate planning objectives and learn how to avoid costly errors and omissions. This course focuses on the fundamental concepts and principals associated with wills, trusts, durable powers of attorney, life insurance, annuity and employee benefit beneficiary designations, medical directives and living wills. This seminar is designed for attorneys and other estate planning professionals. The Basic Course also includes a discussion of important changes in both case law and legislation.

This program (4-CD Audio Recording) in the Integrated Estate Planning Series is approved for 6.5 MCLE Credit Hours including 1.5 Credit Hours of Legal Ethics. We are CalBar Approved Provider No. 13751. You can earn all your California State Bar required MCLE hours by completing the entire Estate Planning Series.
