This course also presents estate planning, practical and ethical issues related to end-of-life planning. The second part of the course is focused on the importance and process of designing an ethical ‘legacy will’. By creating a legacy will, the client has an opportunity to preserve their thoughts, stories and life experiences for their loved ones. By sharing their family history, wisdom, wit and values with the people they care about; the client is able to leave those left behind a gift that goes beyond assets and material possessions. Finally, the course will provide information on issues related to elder care, elder abuse, and household management for the elderly, organization of both medical and financial records, funeral planning and more.
